NCRI – United Nations nuclear inspectors began a visit on Wednesday to the Gachin uranium mine near Banddar Abbas, in southern Iran, state media reported.

The IAEA inspectors are there for one day of inspections and head home later to Austria. The inspectors are operating under the terms of a bilateral agreement reached between the Iranian regime and the IAEA in November, the state-run IRNA said.

Under the accord, which took effect on Jan. 20, the Iranian regime agreed to freeze most uranium-enrichment activities for six months and to allow inspectors deeper access in return for a relaxation of some Western economic sanctions.
