RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal has warned against the danger of Iran’s nuclear programme to the region’s security and said Iran should not threaten its neighbours since countries in the region harbor no ill-intentions to the Islamic Republic.
“We stress the danger of the Iranian nuclear programme to the security of the whole region,” Prince Saud said on Saturday in a joint news conference with Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid in the city of Jiddah. Turning to Syria, he also that Syrian President Bashar Assad and his regime should have no role in the country’s future.
