Message by Mr. Lars Rise, Former member of the foreign affair committee of Norwegian Parliament to the largest ever Iranian gathering in France in support of Maryam Rajavi for a democratic change:
We are gathered here to echo the Iranian people’s cry for democracy in the heartland of an ancient civilization which they have been deprived of by a bunch of mullahs ruling them.
There is a single solution for Iran that is the third option introduced by Mrs. Rajavi.
Speech by Mr. Lars Rise, former member of the Norwegian parliament and a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs in the Iranian gathering:
First of all I would like to salute to my dearest friends in Ashraf city. The heroes and vanguards of freedom and democracy.
I also would like to salute all of you who have attended in this great event and who are supporting this just resistance against the mullahs’ dictatorship in Iran.
We are gathered here to echo the Iranian people’s cry for democracy in the heartland of an ancient civilization which they have been deprived of by a bunch of mullahs ruling them.
Human rights violations by the Iranian regime are a known fact. More than 270 people have either been hanged or are awaiting such cruel punishment since Mohmoud Ahmadinejad became president. Some 173 torture methods are presently used by the Iranian regime against the inmates.
The Iranian regime is going full speed ahead in his drive for nuclear weapons; despite the world’s demand for a freeze on all of its enrichment activities.
The solution to this dilemma definitely lies with the Iranian Resistance which is capable of introducing the third option. Not the military action as some suggest is the solution, nor the talks as some others advocate, but the way put forth by Mrs. Rajavi the Iranian Resistance president-elect and the People’s Mojahehdin Organization of Iran which enjoys the support of 5.2 million Iraqis in a statement last week.
The terror tag on this movement was just another appeasement gesture, however unsuccessful, it was meant to tame the mullahs in Tehran. It is time to remove the tag since it has no legal or political justification. Two week ago all restrictions were revoked by the appeals court in France from Mrs. Maryam Rajavi and her movement and time is right to remove the terror tag from the PMOI now.
There is a single solution for Iran that is the third option introduced by Mrs. Rajavi.
The Mojahedin’s name should be removed from the terrorist list; the Iranian regime should not be give any more time in its nuclear program and a comprehensive sanction must be imposed on the mullahs regime; the June 17 file in France should abrogated all together.
