NCRI – On Wednesday, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in a press conference in Brussels disclosed that the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapon program has entered from "Readiness" to "Deployment" phase by establishing a center for command and control to obtain nuclear bomb.
Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NCRI revealed that a new center known as "Field for Expansion and Deployment of Advanced Technologies" has been setup since April 2007 in Lavizan-2 site to replace the old center which was established in 2004.
The new center known as Mojdeh Site is an independent part of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) with its own directorates and sub-divisions.

The center is managed by Mohsen Fakhrizadeh Mahabadi, a 47-year- old nuclear physicist and a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) who directly reports to the Iranian Defense Minister, Mostafa Mohammad Najar.

Mostafa Mohammad Najar was a high ranking commander of the IRGC in Lebanon who was directly involved in the bombing of the U.S. Marine Barracks in 1983 in that country.

Iran regime’s research for developing nuclear weapons began in 1983 in the IRGC’s research center and continued until 1993.

Later the activities were followed up in the Defense Industries Institute, a subdivision of "Center for Education and Research of the Defense Industries" located in Lavizan- Shian site.

Subsequent to the disclosure of the Lavizan-Shian site by NCRI in 2003, the bulk of the work was transferred to the Lavizan-2 site under with the new title, "Center for Readiness and New Advanced Defensive Technology."

Since April 2007, the organization of the site was subject to major changes within the MOD.  What replaced the old one was the "Field for Expansion and Deployment of Advanced Technologies."

Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin concluded that "such changes were in line with the new mission which was intended for this organ from the beginning: ‘Readiness’ becomes ‘Deployment’. "
