NCRI: Countries preventing referral of Iran nuclear file to Security Council are no friends of peace

Mohammad MohaddessinThe National Council of Resistance of Iran held a press conference in Brussels giving a detailed report on the Iranian regime’s clandestine nuclear program.

At the press conference, aired live by the Iranian Resistance’s national TV Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, chairman of the NCRI Foreign Affairs Committee, said: A document obtained by the National Council of Resistance of Iran contains seven chapters with over a thousand reports.

These reports were obtained from sources in Iran and confirmed as authentic by a variety of sources. They prove that the clerical regime is pushing ahead to create nuclear facilities to use in its nuclear weapons project.

Mohaddessin added that those activities include acquiring nuclear fuel cycle, manufacturing nuclear bombs, nuclear warheads and missile guidance systems.

The chairman of the NCRI foreign affairs committee said the report clearly shows the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps’ involvement in the regime’s nuclear program and guidance and control systems.

Mr. Mohaddessin displayed a blueprint of the Iranian defense ministry’s’ hierarchy and said: As the Iranian Resistance’s President-elect, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi stated, the future Iran will be a nuclear-free nation. To achieve this, however, a firm policy is needed to confront the medieval regime. The first step towards this objective is to recognize the Iranian people’s right to defend themselves. The Iranian Resistance is capable of bringing about democratic changes in Iran and eliminating this major threat.

The second policy that must be adopted is to refer Iran’s nuclear issue to the UN Security Council for possible sanctions.

Reporting from Brussels press conference the Associated Press quoted Mohaddessin as saying: “The countries supporting Iranian regime and preventing referral of the mullahs’ nuclear case to the Security Council are not friends of peace. They are jeopardizing peace to save their own interests and business.”
