Majlis deputy warns about more sanctions

NCRI – A member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (Parliament) has warned that sanctions will increase against the regime after the failure of talks in Istanbul last week.

According to the state-run Khabar Online on Thursday, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh referred to Catherine Ashton, the EU foreign policy chief, and said, “Ashton showed herself to be bitter and hopeless at the end of the talks in order to open the door for fresh confrontational moves in the future and sanctions in addition to the 1929 (UN Security Council) resolution.”

“They will try to force Iran to sit at the negotiating table from a weaker position,” he added.
