The U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told the Iranian regime’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday that “the United States will continue to enforce existing sanctions.”
Kerry and Zarif met on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference two weeks before the new round of nuclear talks are due to begin on February 18.
According to a statement by a senior U.S. State Department official: “Secretary Kerry reiterated the importance of both sides negotiating in good faith and Iran abiding by its commitments under the Joint Plan of Action. He also made clear that the United States will continue to enforce existing sanctions.”
