Iranians protest against Tehran’s nuclear program in London

Iranians protest against Tehran's nuclear program in LondonNCRI – AP television reported a rally outside the British Parliament today by supporters of the Iranian Resistance. The participants protested against Iranian clerical regime’s nuclear weapons program. A banner which was held next to Big Ben read: "Mullahs are terrorists."

In an interview with the AP TV after his press conference in London today, Hussein Abedini of the National Council of Resistance of Iran said, "Today we revealed information on the number of Shahab-3 missiles in the arsenal of the Iranian regime, and this number is much bigger  than previously thought.  The regime now has more than 300 Shahab-3 missiles, with a modified version that has a range of up to 2,000 km."

Abedini continued: "I think the intentions are very clear. The three components of the nuclear project of the regime were nuclear enrichment and plans to produce plutonium, as well as the neutron initiator, and now the missile – the means to deliver this nuclear device. We believe this number of Shahab-3 is very much intended for carrying the nuclear warhead."

AP report also quoted Abedini of the NCRI revealing that the production of Shahab-3 is taking place at the Hemmat site on the outskirts of Tehran, with the help of engineers from North Korea. He asserted that Iran was also well on the road to completing work on a new ballistic missile called the Ghadr, which will have a range of 3,000 km.
