Iranians opposed to mullahs’ terrorism, nuclear ambitions

Iranians opposed to mullahs' terrorism, nuclear ambitionsNCRI – "No to mullahs’ terrorism," "no to Ahmadinejad" and "no nukes to the mullahs" were the slogans chanted by the Iranians demonstrating in Cologne’s Dom square.

While condemning the terrorist bombing of a passenger bus carrying Iraqi workers to PMOI’s Ashraf City in north of Baghdad on May 29, the demonstrators called on Iraqi authorities and Coalition Forces to end terrorism by Iranian regime and guarantee security for the members of the PMOI in Iraq.

Speaking to journalists covering the demonstration, Mehdi, an Iranian teacher from Tehran living in exile in Germany, said the regime is desperately pressing to acquire nuclear weapons to secure its survival and blackmail the world. He said that Iraq was the first target for the regime’s expansionist ambitions and it finds the People’s Mojahedin in that country as a major obstacle to its plans.

PMOI, as an anti-fundamentalist movement, has exposed the ominous ambitions of the regime in Iraq. Some three million Iraqi’s signed a petition in support of the PMOI last year calling it a legitimate resistance group whose safe stay in Iraq should be guaranteed.

Demonstrators in Cologne also called on the UN Secretary General to intervene and guarantee respect for PMOI members’ refugee status in Iraq.
