Iranian regime officials skeptical about success of nuclear talks

FalahatpishehNCRI – Two members of the Iranian regime’s parliamentary committee on security and foreign policy have expressed skepticism about the success of upcoming international negotiations over the regime’s nuclear program, saying if the West continues to adopt the current course of action, the talks will fail.

According to the state-run Mehr news agency on Friday, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh said, “The P5+1 talks with Iran will not be successful if the sanctions and resolution 1929 remain in effect.”

He added, “The objective of many of the P5+1 countries is to bring about the talks as a way to say that the ball is now in Iran’s court.”

Another member of the regime’s parliamentary committee on security and foreign policy, Gholamreza Karami, was quoted as saying, “In light of the fact that the P5+1 countries are not influenced by logic and only deal with Iran as if it owes them something, I don’t imagine there would be any progress in the negotiations.”
