Iran regime refuses to halt enrichment despite US offer of talk

NCRI – Following the offer of talk by the US over the Iranian regime’s suspected nuclear program, the Iranian regime declared that it would not halt its uranium enrichment.

Mullahs’ foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Thursday, "We support dialogue but we will not talk about our undeniable and legitimate rights."

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on Wednesday that Washington was ready to join direct talks with Europe on Iran’s nuclear program if Tehran suspended all uranium enrichment activities.
