Iran regime dents IAEA hopes to access key nuclear site

NCRI – Iranian regime’s Atomic Energy Organization said it would not agree to any inspections beyond those of declared nuclear sites required by the Non-Proliferation Treaty, state-run TV reported on Wednesday.

The remarks by Freydoon Abbasi Davani, the director of the agency, dents hopes by United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency to gain access to inspect the Parchin military complex outside Tehran.

The huge military complex is dedicated to research, development, and production of ammunition, rockets, and high explosives. The site has hundreds of buildings and test sites.

The National Council Resistance of Iran (NCRI) revealed in a press conference in 2005 that tunneling at Parchin was being used to conceal nuclear weapons-related activities, including the construction of a center for laser enrichment.
