French FM: The Iranian regime’s acquisition of nuclear weapons

NCRI – France’s Foreign Minister, Michele Alliot-Marie, has said in an interview that the Iranian regime’s acquisition of nuclear weapons poses a great threat for the international community.

Talking about the Istanbul negotiations between the Iranian regime and P5+1 powers, she said, “The big powers will absolutely not allow the Iranian regime to acquire nuclear weapons and will firmly demand from the regime to comply with UN Security Council resolutions and the IAEA,” in reference to the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Alliot-Marie added, “If Iran refuses to change course, then it will be faced with increasing pressure from the international community.”

“The French government refuses to allow the Iranian regime to destabilize the region,” he added.
