Azerbaijan ceases bank services to the Iranian regime

NCRI – The country of Azerbaijan has taken strict financial measures against the Iranian regime to prevent the regime’s use of the country’s banks to launder money and supply terrorist groups across the world, Bizim Yol of Baku has reported.

The daily said the policy was adopted in light of the Iranian regime’s obscure  actions and its attempts to exploit the banking systems of other countries to launder money.

According to the report, Azeri banks are refusing to accept money transferred from the Iranian regime’s banks.

International experts see the action as Azerbaijan’s attempt to join other international countries in placing sanctions on the Iranian regime.

Bizim Yol wrote that coalitions opposing the Iranian regime have called on the Azeri government to end its doubtful ties to the regime.
