Message of Maryam Rajavi:

I would like to extend my sincere condolences on the passing away of Mr. David Vaughan QC, to his family as well as the lawyers and people of Britain.

David Vaughan was a prominent barrister and a great defender of the Iranian Resistance. He stood with us in the darkest days of our history and defended justice.

Along with the late Lord Slynn, he played an unforgettable role in the legal campaign against EU’s terrorist designation of the PMOI to delist it.

David Vaughan was on the right side of history. He did great service to the people of Iran, and I am confident that his name will remain forever in the history of the British Justice.

Let there be no doubt that on the day when freedom and democracy are restored in Iran, my countrymen will remember and praise their friends and defenders as they truly deserve.
