IRAN PROTESTS: AMIR KABIR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS CALL FOR REGIME CHANGE

January 14, 2020—On the fourth day of protests that began on Saturday, students at Tehran’s Amir Kabir University chanted anti-regime slogans. “Mullahs must get lost,” the students were shouting, calling for the overthrow of the clerical regime ruling Iran since the 1979 revolution. Security forces and paramilitary basij units tried to disperse the crowd, but the students resisted and chanted, “You are ISIS to us” and “Shame on you!” Protests began on Saturday after Iranian officials admitted, following a three-day delay, that security forces had shot down a civilian passenger plane flying from Tehran to Kiev, Ukraine.

“Down with the dictator!” directly referring to the mullahs’ supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

“No to referendum or reform! Yes to strikes & revolution!”

January 14 – Tehran, Iran – Tehran University Students protesting and chanting:

“The leader is a disgrace!” in a clear reference to the mullahs’ regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

“Imprisoned college students must be released!”

PROTESTERS AT TEHRAN UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL CHANT SLOGANS AGAINST IRAN’S REGIME.

January 14, 2020—On the fourth day of protests that began on Saturday, students at Tehran University Medical School chanted anti-regime slogans. “Death to tyrants, both the Shah and the Leader.” Shah was the monarch who was overthrown by popular revolutions in 1979. “Leader” is a reference to Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Iranian regime. The students were also chanting, “Be afraid, we are together.” This slogan was directed at Basij paramilitary units dispatched to disperse the demonstrators. January 14, 2020—On the fourth day of student protests that began on Saturday, demonstrators called on Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Iranian regime, to resign. “Commander in chief, resign!” the students were chanting. Slogans also included the following: – People didn’t die for us to praise the murderous leader – We will die and we will take back Iran – Death to the rule of the mullahs Protests began on Saturday after Iranian officials admitted, following a three-day delay, that security forces had shot down a civilian passenger plane flying from Tehran to Kiev, Ukraine.

“1,500 civilians were killed in November!”

“We’re tired of tyranny!”

January 14 – Tehran, Iran – Tehran Medical University Students holding a rally and chanting:

“Be afraid! We’re all together!”

Iranians are encouraging each other to hold their ranks against the regime’s forces.

CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL ACTION TO FREE ARRESTED STUDENTS AND PROTESTERS

Students at Iran’s Sharif Industrial University continued their protests for the third consecutive day on Monday noon. The protesters expressed outrage and anger at the clerical regime and chanted, “Death to Dictator,” “Grief, grief is with us today – brave students are grieving today,” “Cannons, tanks, firecrackers, mullahs must get lost,” and “They killed our best and put mullahs in their place.”

A popular slogan during January 11 and 12, 2020 protests at universities and across different cities was “Qassem Soleimani is a killer, his leader is also a killer”, showing the people’s outrage over the IRGC and its leader, Ali Khamenei’s crimes in killing the Iranians and people of the region. Tuesday, January 14, 2020, marks the 61st day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 704 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
