International Online Conference and Widespread Support for MEK and Regime Change in Iran
On Saturday, September 5, representatives of more than 300 Iranian communities from around the world announced their support for the uprisings of the Iranian people to overthrow the mullahs’ regime and their support for the main opposition group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and the Resistance Units in an online conference. Participants in the conference, which included three generations of Iranians, called for the immediate intervention of international organizations to free political prisoners in Iran.

Iranian Resistance Units mark 55th anniversary of MEK
The Iranian Resistance Units celebrated the anniversary of the 56th anniversary of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) across the country.
From Tuesday, September 1, to Friday, September 4, the Resistance Units organized, which are the network of MEK inside Iran, held various activities across Iran hailing MEK’s 56 years of struggle for freedom against two dictatorships of the monarchy of the Shah and Khomeini’s theocracy.

Protest Rallies of Retirees and Pensioners in Tehran and Various Cities
On Saturday, September 5, hundreds of retirees and pensioners gathered in front of the offices of the regime’s Social Security Organization to protest poverty, inflation, and high prices. Retirees came from Tehran, Mashhad, Rasht, Ahvaz, Bushehr, Karaj, Urmia, Tabriz, Arak, Bojnurd, Khorramabad, Kerman, Lahijan, Shush, Neyshabur, and other cities in Iran to protest for their rights. Repressive State Security Forces (SSF) and special riot forces appeared at the rallies with full gear to prevent the public from joining the protesters.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 410 Cities Passed 99,200
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on September 5, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 410 cities across Iran had exceeded 99,200. The number of victims in Khorasan Razavi is 7,074, Khuzestan 6,612, Isfahan 4,500, Gilan 4,112, East Azerbaijan 2,887, Golestan 2,823, West Azerbaijan 2,679, Kerman 1,586, Hormozgan 1,329, Qazvin 864, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 645.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?
Sunday, September 6, 2020, marks the 295th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
