Tehran Province’s Revision Court upheld the sentence of 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment for a female journalist on the charge of “assembly and collusion.” Female journalist Nada Sabouri has been serving her sentence since August 7, 2020, in the women’s ward of Evin Prison.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 410 Cities Exceeds 98,900

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on September 4, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 410 cities across Iran had passed 98,900. The number of victims in Tehran is 24,055, Isfahan 4,475, Lorestan 4,355, Alborz 2,813, Fars 2,781, Semnan 1,297, Ilam 840, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 697.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Saturday, September 5, 2020, marks the 294th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
