NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF MAY 5, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, May 5, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 39,300 in 313 cities across Iran.
The death toll in various provinces include: 3255 in Qom, 2460 in Mazandaran, 1990 in Khuzestan, 1580 in Alborz, 1070 in Sistan and Baluchestan, 945 in Lorestan, 910 in Semnan, 690 in Yazd, 435 in Kerman, 330 in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari, 255 in Kohgiluyehn & Boyer Ahmad. This is in addition to cases registered in other provinces.

On April 30, the German Interior Ministry officially designated, Lebanese Hezbollah’s integrity as a terrorist organization and banned all its activities inside this country. In the early hours of Thursday, the German police raided Hezbollah centers at the same time in several states and inspected the gathering centers of its affiliated forces.

The move by the German government provoked a widespread and unexpected reaction from the leaders of the clerical regime in Iran.

It is no secret that the Hezbollah and its agents in Europe and other places in the world are in the service of the regime’s terrorist apparatus. Many terrorist activities of the Iranian regime were carried out by Hezbollah, such as AMIA bombing of 1994 in Argentina or Mykonos restaurant assassinations in Berlin in 1992.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced On Monday, May 4, 2020 that the Coronavirus death toll has exceeded 39,000 in 312 cities across Iran. The number of victims in Tehran is 6,470, Khuzestan 1970, Alborz 1,520, West Azerbaijan 1,200, Hamedan 970, Kermanshah 960, Lorestan 925, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 312, Hormozgan 152

Mrs. Rajavi condemned the inhuman treatment of infected women in Ahvaz Prison, urged Mrs. Bachelet, UN’s High Commissioner for Human Rights to take steps to secure the freedom of female prisoners.

Iran Cyber Police arrests man for posting COVID-19 news on social media

A Cyber Police official in a northern Iran province said that a man was detained for “publishing lies” on social media platforms about the COVID-19 epidemic.
“The culprit is a 60-year-old man and has confessed to his crime,” Colonel Iraj Pourmostamand, the Head of the Cyber Police in Gilan, told reporters today in a press conference covered by state-run media.
“Confessing” to so-called crimes in Iran is usually accompanied by coercion and even torture.
“The person responsible for publishing lies about the coronavirus on social media platforms was identified by Cyber Police experts in the city of Rasht and was detained in a surprise operation upon the approval of a judiciary official,” he added.
The Cyber Police official said that the content posted by the 60-year-old man had “disturbed public opinion”.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Tuesday, May 5, 2020, marks the 173rd day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
