Over 48,200 dead of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iran-Iran Coronavirus Death Toll per PMOI MEK sources

NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF MAY 31, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, May 31, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 48,200 in 323 cities across Iran. 3665 in Khuzestan, 2745 in Mazandaran, 1485 in Sistan and Baluchistan, 1485 in Lorestan, 1310 in West Azerbaijan, 920 in Kurdestan, 302 in Ilam. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

Various cities across Iran witness new protests

Protests in the provinces of Khuzestan and Kurdistan, Iran

Protest rallies are escalating across Iran as people from all walks of life are demanding their rights.

Villagers near the city of Jofair in Khuzestan province, southwest Iran, rallied on Saturday, May 30, and blocked a road, protesting severe water shortages. There are numerous oil and gas companies stationed in nearby areas, yet the locals are forced to live in poor conditions. Residents of these villages say various officials have pledged to resolve this issue many times only to leave and never take any measures. Locals have threatened to completely shut down the oil and gas companies, and the land is estimated to have around 2 billion barrels of oil and many layers of natural gas, able to provide around 6.5 million cubic feet each day.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on Saturday, May 30, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 323 cities across Iran is more than 48,000. The number of victims in Khuzestan is 3,630, Qom 3,505, Isfahan 2,520, Lorestan 1,470, Golestan 1,315, Kurdistan 895, North Khorasan 540, and Hormozgan 215.

“Rise up against dictatorship of Ali Khamenei” : MEK Resistance Units

The domestic network of the main opposition movement the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the Iranian Resistance Units spread its activities across the country on Friday. They bravely took to graffiti in public places with the slogan ”The mullahs do not want Iran, and Iran and all Iranians do not want the mullahs,” “Khamenei’s rule must be overthrown” and ”Rise up against dictatorship.”
They wrote:
Gachsaran— “The brave Resistance Units have sworn to fight the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei”
Isfahan— “The army of the poor must rebel and rise up.”
Isfahan— “The mullahs do not want Iran, and Iran and all Iranians do not want the mullahs”
Isfahan— “The brave Resistance Units have sworn to fight the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei”
Tehran— “The mullahs’ regime is an inhuman dictatorship, Down with the principle of the Supreme Leader’s rule”

Iran’s regime is responsible for Romina Ashrafi’s beheading

There have been shocking news of a teenage girl, Romina Ashrafi, being beheaded by her father in Iran.
The NCRI’s Women’s Committee strongly condemned the murder of this 13-year-old girl and announced the tragic honor killing of Romina Ashrafi, by her father is the outcome of the oppressive and medieval policies and laws of the misogynist clerical regime that encourage and promote violence against women and girls.
The religious fascism ruling Iran is responsible for the murder of Romina Ashrafi.
According to the state-run medias, during the court hearing that ruled to send Romina back to her father’s home.
She had cried and pleaded many times that if she returned home, her father would kill her.
Still, the regime’s criminal Judge ordered Romina to be returned home to, which later became her altar.
Iranian Resistance urged international community to condemn Iran regime’s misogynist laws that perpetuate such killings.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Sunday, May 31, 2020, marks the 199th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
