Over 42,400 dead of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iran-Iran Coronavirus Death Toll per PMOI MEK sources

NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF MAY 17, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, May 17, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 42,400 in 319 cities across Iran.
The death toll in various provinces include: 2985 in Khorasan Razavi, 2845 in Khuzestan, 2615 in Mazandaran, 1300 in Sistan & Baluchistan, 1295 in Golestan, 1170 in Lorestan, 595 in Markazi (Central), 490 in North Khorasan, 290 in Ilam, 195 in Hormozagan, 142 in South Khorasan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

“The Iranian regime is full of fear of its overthrow” MEK Resistance Units

While over 42,100 people have died of the novel coronavirus in 318 cities, the Iranian people and the PMOI/MEK network inside Iran highlight the solution for Iran which is the overthrow of the mullahs’ rule. They took to graffiti in public places writing messages of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and NCRI President Maryam Rajavi.
They wrote:
Tehran— “The generation of Iran will not give up to the coronavirus caused by the supreme leader and will not accept silence.”
Tehran— “Iran is blazing. The people of Iran want neither the coronavirus, nor the mullahs.” / “Down with Khamenei, hail to freedom.”
Tehran— “The lost lives are like ticking timebombs for Khamenei’s overthrow”
Tehran— “Dear God, keep the people of Iran safe from both the coronavirus and the virus of the Supreme Leader and help them to find a cure and stay healthy”
Tehran— “The generation of Iran will not give up to the coronavirus caused by Ali Khamenei and will not accept silence.”
Qazvin— “The regime is full of fear of its overthrow”

Mashhad— “The army of the poor must rebel and rise up.”
Shiraz— “Down with Khamenei, hail to Rajavi”
Shiraz— “We must rise to take back our legitimate rights”
Robat Karim— “The army of the poor must rebel and rise up.”
Robat Karim— “The people of Iran will overcome both the coronavirus and the virus of the Supreme Leader”
Bandar Abbas— “Coronavirus outbreak is the guilt of the Iranian regime & mullahs.”

Iran: Defiant Youths Target Centers of Plunder, Repression and Mullahs’ Seminaries and Torch Khamenei and Soleimani’s Photos in Various Cities

In the early morning hours of Saturday, May 16, 2020, defiant youths in Shahrekord (Kiar) targeted the mullahs center of plunder in the city. At the same time, the repressive Bassij center in Karaj was targeted and its entrance was set alight.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 318 Cities Exceeds 42,100

Khuzestan Province is in a critical situation; hospitals are full of patients and victims’ bodies

Maryam Rajavi, expressing her condolences to the people of Khuzestan, said Ali Khamenei and Hassan Rouhani are primarily responsible for such extensive loss of lives of our compatriots. They have destroyed Iran’s most resourceful and wealthiest Province by their inhuman policies and caused the rise in the spread of the virus.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on Saturday, May 16, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 318 cities in Iran has exceeded 42,100. The number of victims in Qom is 3,405, Khuzestan 2,750, Sistan and Baluchestan 1,265, Lorestan 1,155, and North Khorasan 482.

Iranian authorities sent back citizens to workplaces, which resulted in 2nd wave of coronavirus

As Iran is still under the coronavirus’s impacts, which resulted in a growing number of the death toll among citizens, Iranian authorities return citizens to workplaces contaminated with the coronavirus. This inhuman decision, which made by the supreme leader Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani, has caused the second wave of the health crisis in the country.
In this respect, contrary to officials’ concealment, deans of Medical Science universities in different provinces acknowledged about the critical condition of the COVID-19 disease.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Sunday, May 17, 2020, marks the 185th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
