Over 64,800 dead of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iran-Iran Coronavirus Death Toll per PMOI MEK sources

NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF July 3, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, July 3, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 64,800 in 342 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 4950 in Khuzestan, 4170 in Khorasan Razavi, 3205 in Gilan, 2385 in Lorestan, 2080 in Sistan and Baluchistan, 2030 in Alborz, 1795 in West Azerbaijan, 1655 in Kermanshah, 1380 in Fars, 1320 in Kurdistan, 820 in Yazd,  810 in North Khorasan, 660 in Markazi (Central), 580 in Zanjan, 190 in South Khorasan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

Coronavirus Death Toll in 342 Cities Surpasses 64,200

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Thursday, July 2, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 342 cities in Iran is more than 64,200. The number of victims in Khorasan Razavi is 4,050, Qom 3,930, Lorestan 2,350, West Azerbaijan 1,760, Kermanshah 1,630, Hamedan 1,440, North Khorasan 750, Hormozgan 650, and Ilam 440.

Iran: Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Co. workers continue strike for 18th day

The deprived workers of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Company continued their strike on Thursday, July 2, for the 18th consecutive day by holding a march in the city of Shush in the oil-rich province of Khuzestan, southwest Iran.
The workers were heard chanting:
“Workers would rather die than live in shame!”
“We don’t want a governor who accepts bribes!”
“One less embezzlement case and our problems will be resolved!”

The significance of the Free Iran 2020 gathering

Every year the Iranian opposition holds its annual “Free Iran” gathering, where tens of thousands of Iranians and its supporters from around the world participate to express their desire for a free and democratic Iran.

Also every year, hundreds of renowned politicians, dignitaries, human rights activists, religious leaders, parliamentarians, mayors, and citizens from across the globe join the event to express their thoughts on the situation in Iran.

On June 2019, for the first time the “Free Iran 2019 event”, that traditionally was hosted in Paris from 2004 to 2018, was organized in Ashraf 3 in Albania, home to more than 3,000 members of the main Iranian opposition movement, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Friday, July 3, 2020, marks the 231st day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE UPRISING:

Number of martyrs: At least 1500

Number of injured: More than 4,000

Number of detainees: More than 12,000
