Free Iran 2020: A monumental achievement in the struggle for freedom

Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) – Online Free Iran Global Summit 2020 – Ashraf 3, Albania – July 2020.

The annual “Free Iran Global Summit 2020” meeting of the Iranian Resistance held online on Friday July 17 in an exceptional and special circumstances that the coronavirus has imposed on the world, marked a historical event in the political and social history of Iran.

A unique technological event

Dozens of distinguished personalities who spoke at this event expressed their amazement and admiration that the event was held in 30,000 places in 102 countries of the world, including Iran, where internet access is very limited. The event was attended by 1,000 of personalities, political leaders, human rights activists, and other dignitaries from around the world. Many described the meeting as “extraordinary,” “amazing,” “unimaginable,” “making the impossible possible,” and “an exciting technological achievement.”

Joseph Lieberman, former U.S. senator and Vice Presidential nominee, suggested to register this event in the Guinness Book of Records.

Iran: Growing Support for the MEK and NCRI Poses an Existential Threat to the Clerical Regime

On Friday, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the MEK held its annual “Free Iran” gathering. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, “Free Iran Global Summit” was held online, connecting over 30,000 locations from above 100 countries around the globe. Nearly 1,000 renowned politicians participated in this conference reiterating their support of the Iranian people and their organized resistance movement.

Video: Maryam Rajavi’s speech to the Free Iran Global Summit

The Free Iran Global Summit, a major online and live conference encompassing over 30,000 points spread across 100 countries, was convened on Friday, July 17, 2020, in a direct link to Ashraf 3, home of the Iranian opposition, Mujahedeen-e Khalq.
The summit, held in commemoration of the July 20 anniversary of Iranians’ historic uprising in 1952 against domestic reactionary forces and colonialism, to restore the nationalist and democratic government of Dr. Mohammad Mossadeq, as well as the anniversary of the founding of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, the sole independent and democratic alternative to the current regime in 1981, was met with widespread participation and enthusiasm by Iranian compatriots.
Over 1,000 political dignitaries from various countries participated in this summit to voice support for the Iranian people’s uprising and in solidarity with Resistance Units.

MEK network express their readiness for supporting Maryam Rajavi & Free Iran Global

The Iranian Resistance Units, a network of activists of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) across Iran, have been organizing various activities that are louder calls for regime change. The Resistance Units bravely took to graffiti in public places and sent personal messages, announcing their support for the annual gathering of the Iranian Resistance the “Free Iran Global Summit: Iran Rising Up for Freedom” with the slogans: “Down with Khamenei, hail to freedom, we are ready to overthrow the regime,” “Down with the principle of the Supreme Leader’s rule,” “We can and we must free Iran,” “Democracy and freedom with Maryam Rajavi, down with Khamenei, hail to Rajavi” and “Maryam Iran, Iran Maryam.”
They told :
Tehran— “Dear Maryam, as a Mojahedin member from Tehran I announce my position and until the overthrow of the cruel mullahs’ regime I will not give up, and we will bring you back to our homeland the country of the Lion and the Sun. Down with Khamenei, hail to Massoud Rajavi, hail to freedom”

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Sunday, July 19, 2020, marks the 246th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
