Iran: Coronavirus Update, Over 63,700 Deaths, July 1, 2020, 6:00 PM
NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF July 1, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, July 1, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 63,700 in 341 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 4870 in Khuzestan, 3900 in Khorasan Razavi, 3205 in Isfahan, 2055 in Sistan and Baluchistan, 1610 in Golestan, 1590 in Kermanshah, 1340 in Fars, 805 in Kerman, 695 in North Khorasan, 620 in Bushehr. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

MEK Resistance Units install posters of Maryam Rajavi in Iran’s cities heralding the
The Iranian Resistance Units, a network of activists of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) across Iran, have been organizing various activities that are louder calls for regime change. The Resistance Units bravely took to graffiti in public places with the slogans: “We can and we must overthrow the dictator,” “Down with the principle of the Supreme leader’s rule” and “A free Iran with Maryam Rajavi.”
They wrote:

Protests are taking over Iran
Reports indicate there have been numerous protests across Iran by people from all walks of life. These protests once again confirm that Iran is filled with unrest right now as people from all occupations take to the streets in protest over unfair treatment by the Iranian regime and its affiliates.

Last week, Iran’s democratic Resistance movement won its latest victory in court against a media outlet that had chosen to repeat false allegations against Iran’s main opposition organization, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI-MEK). Despite the favorable judgement, the case itself is a reminder of the persistent nature of lies and rumors that are designed to politically damage the MEK and its parent coalition, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

Newsmax: House Resolution Signals Support for Iran’s Main Resistance
A majority of members of the House in a unique bipartisan way, offered a comprehensive solution for threats stemming from the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Resolution is comprehensive: It corrects deficiencies in policy discussions of Tehran.It emphasizes that Iranians, having been “deprived of their fundamental freedoms,” are “opposing religious tyranny working toward the establishment of a new and democratic form of government.”
In announcing this bipartisan initiative, Rep. Tom McClintock, R-California, the main sponsor of House Resolution 374, said he notified Secretary of State Mike Pompeo about 221 co-sponsors for President Donald Trump to consider.
The resolution called attention to “Madame Maryam Rajavi‘s 10-point plan for the future. It calls for universal right to vote, free elections, and a market economy.

Free Iran annual gathering sends strong message of hope for change
Every year, the Iranian Resistance holds its Free Iran annual gathering to beam a strong message of hope for regime change, freedom and democracy into Iran.
The event is a venue for tens of thousands of Iranians and supporters of the movement from around the globe as well as hundreds of renowned politicians, dignitaries, human rights activists, and parliamentarians from the five continents to declare their support for the people of Iran in their quest for freedom.
Last year the Free Iran annual gathering was held in Ashraf-3 in Albania, now home to members of the main Iranian opposition movement, the People’s Mojahedin Organization (PMOI/MEK).

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 341 Cities Exceeds 63,200
- Health Ministry: The provinces of Khuzestan, Kurdistan, West and East Azerbaijan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khorasan-e-Razavi and Kermanshah are red and have the highest rates of infection, hospitalization, and death.
- Alireza Zali: Tehran is still facing an upward trend of infections. In the last 24 hours, 527 people have been hospitalized.
- Vice president of Tehran University of Medical Sciences: All beds are occupied. If we reach the same figures as in March, we will not be able to respond and cope with it. In the next 15 days, the rate of infection, hospitalization, and mortality in the country will increase.
- Regime parliament deputy from Bukan: There is no vacant bed in Bukan for Coronavirus patients. We are facing many shortages in terms of medicine, medical equipment, and hygiene facilities.
- Mashhad University: Today, the number of patients in Mashhad is at its highest level since the beginning of the outbreak. The number of hospital admissions covered by the University is more than 600, the highest since the beginning.

The number of victims in Tehran is 16,400, Lorestan 2,325, East Azerbaijan 1,890, West Azerbaijan 1,725, Kurdistan 1,295, Hormozgan 625, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 420, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 325.

Continued reports of protests across Iran
Unrest is growing across the country as reports indicate people from all walks of life holding protest gatherings and rallies demanding what is rightfully theirs.
A group of workers in the Haft Tappeh Sugar Cane Company, located in the city of Shush in southwest Iran, continued their strike for the sixteenth consecutive day on Tuesday, June 30, protesting not receiving any answers to their raised demands. This rally was held outside the Shush governorate building. The protesting workers are demanding delayed paychecks and pensions, their job statuses being clarified, the company status finalized, all their expelled colleagues be allowed to return to work, cancellation of plans to hand over the company to regime insiders under the pretext of “privatization” and their insurance booklets being extended.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?
Wednesday, July 1, 2020, marks the 229th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
