Conference in UK Parliament: Cross party MPs, Peers and prominent jurists and women’s rights personalities discuss women’s rights in Iran and what the UK Gov’t must do to support the struggle for democratic change that is led by women.

 

Remarks by Sir David Amess MP at the IWD 2020 Each for Equal in the Parliament: UK Gov’t should back the popular uprisings in Iran against the regime, support Maryam Rajavi and her 10-point democratic plan for Iran as a viable alternative to the current religious dictatorship.

This must include accountability for regime officials for 1988 massacre of 30000 political prisoners. If that it is vetoed and blocked, the UK Gov’t should help establish a regional tribunal to bring those responsible to justice.

Sir David Amess MP: UK Gov’t should revise its current policy on Iran and back the popular uprisings in Iran against corruption, misogyny and repression, and support Madame Rajavi, and her 10-point democratic.

As Madame Rajavi, said, “failure of the regime to intimidate people to go to the polls reflects the Iran’ian people’s homage to the 1,500 martyrs of Nov 2019 uprising and portends of subsequent uprisings.

Iran, February 24, 2020—Following the coronavirus outbreak in China, most countries cancelled flights to this country to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

However, Iran’s regime, careless about the risks to the health of the Iranian people, did not take any precautionary measures.

Mahan Air, owned by the terrorist-designated Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), not only continued its flights to China, but also engaged in the transportation of Chinese passengers.

As a result, Iran is now in the grip of the outbreak of the virus in several cities. The regime has officially acknowledged 12 deaths and 64 infections, but local reports indicate that the figures are much higher.

According to an official at Khajeh Nasir Toosi University in Tehran, a student who was taken to the Masih Daneshvari Hospital said that he had tested positive for COVID19.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Tuesday, February 25, 2020, marks the 103rd day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 724 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE UPRISING:

Number of martyrs: At least 1500

Number of injured: More than 4,000

Number of detainees: More than 12,000
