As Iran Contends With Unrest, the World Must Contend With the Regime’s Disinformation Against the MEK

MEK supporters rally in Brussels- File photo

The Iranian regime is currently facing unprecedented challenges from the Iranian people. The year 2018 began with a nationwide uprising already underway, and its enduring social influence led by the NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi to call that year a “year full of uprisings.” Scattered local demonstrations helped to keep anti-government slogans like “death to the dictator” in popular circulation, and in November 2019 they returned to national prominence with another nationwide uprising, this one even larger than its predecessor.

European Policymakers Have Willfully Embraced Increased Danger of Iranian Attack

European Parliament

By: Alejo Vidal-Quadras

As someone who has long recognized and worked to counter the global threat posed by the Iranian regime, I am extremely disappointed that so many of my European colleagues have joined in standing against American efforts to re-impose multilateral sanctions and prevent the expiration of a UN arms embargo in October.

The sanction critics have offered little explanation for why they seem not to share the relevant concerns about advanced weapons falling into the hands of terrorist groups. Iran: Message by Massoud Rajavi, August 26, 2020

Mr. Massoud Rajavi Iranian Resistance Leader

In addition to the assassins of my brother, Kazem, the perpetrators and the masterminds of all assassinations and crimes committed inside and outside Iran by the ruling religious fascism must be sanctioned and punished for their actions. They include the assassins of Qassemlou in Vienna, Bakhtiar and Boroumand in Paris, Fereydoun Farrokhzad in Bonn, Akbar Ghorbani in Istanbul, Sharafkandi in Berlin, Naghdi in Rome, Zahra Rajabi and Ali Moradi in Istanbul, Mohammad Hassan Arbab in Karachi, and dozens of others. These crimes are in addition to hundreds of other terrorist crimes perpetrated by Iran’s ruling theocracy against the Iranian Resistance, the Peshmargas and our Kurdish brothers in Iraqi territory and Iraqi Kurdistan.

Maryam Rajavi: The religious fascism ruling Iran must be strongly condemned and expelled from the international community for its continued use of torture and arbitrary executions, especially of political prisoners, and its brutal and systematic Human Rights violations

Mojtaba Zolnour, head of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission

The mullahs’ regime ruling Iran is deeply concerned over possible inspections of its nuclear sites by the United Nations nuclear watchdog.

Mojtaba Zolnour, chair of the mullahs’ National Security and Foreign Policy Commission in the regime’s Majlis (parliament), went as far as saying the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) receives its information from the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

“This is more reason why the Islamic Republic is not permitting the IAEA permission to inspect the two sites that they have raised,” he said on Tuesday.
