NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF APRIL 24, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, April 24, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 34,700 in 297 cities across Iran.

Reports indicate the number of COVID-19 victims in Sistan and Baluchistan Province of southeast Iran has increased significantly. The true death toll is not known as of yet while at least 90 individuals lost their lives in the past 24 hours alone. The death toll in various provinces include: 5,870 in Tehran, 2,775 in Khorasan Razavi, 1,348 in East Azerbaijan, 1,130 in West Azerbaijan, 886 in Hamedan, 795 in Lorestan, 590 in Kurdistan, 575 Semnan, 475 in Zanjan, and 375 in North Khorasan. This is in addition to cases registered in other provinces.

According to an eyewitness from Milad Hospital in Tehran, the prevalence of coronavirus is much higher than before, but hospital nurses are not allowed to mention that the patient has coronavirus. Two nurses at Milad Hospital were discharged from the hospital after telling some patients and their accompanies that they had the disease.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
