Coronavirus cases were not checked according to Health ministry instructions: An official says

Qom—Coronavirus cases were not checked according to Health ministry instructions, an official in Qom says:
“On February 19, there were patients who died at the ICU of one of our hospitals.
Our diagnosis was that Corona should be examined and we insisted on this diagnosis. We had a case the week before and we had a patient who was diagnosed with corona, in fact, the diagnosis of COVID19 or coronavirus infection. Well, it was not checked according to those instructions, while we had similar cases in 15 other provinces at the same time, but Qom requested this examination and insisted, and it was done. There were cases in other provinces, but we examined and deliberated about it and reached a conclusion. If they attempted to carry out a test, contrary to the Ministry of Health’s protocols, they would have definitely diagnosed it with the coronavirus.
In conclusion, the first diagnosis was in Qom, it does not mean that it was the first case in Qom, but it was diagnosed in Qom.
I think all countries should be grateful to Qom’s doctors who thought about this disease and made the diagnosis and it was confirmed and it created the sensitivity in the whole country to be aware that this disease is also spreading in Iran.”
