Former Iranian Chief of Justice: “The Islamic Republic is the most democratic system in the world”

Former Iranian Chief of Justice, Mostafa Pourmohammadi said on November 14, that the clerical regime ruling Iran is the most democratic system in the world. Pourmohammadi was a member of Tehran’s “Death Commission” and is responsible for the execution of thousands of political prisoners in 1988.

Student activist sentenced for participating in November 2019 protests

Marjan Es’haghi, a student of political sciences at Tehran University, received a total of five years’ imprisonment for participating in the November 2019 protests.

Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran sentenced Marjan Es’haghi to 1 year in prison and 4 years of suspended jail sentence on November 11. Marjan Es’haghi was arrested after participating in a student gathering at Tehran University on November 17 as she was leaving the campus.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Surpasses 155,500 in 465 Cities

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on Sunday, November 15, 2020, that the Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 155,500 in 465 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 37,891 in Tehran, 11,530 in Khorasan Razavi, 8,820 in Khuzestan, 8,725 in Isfahan, 6,590 in Lorestan, 6,407 in Mazandaran, 5,762 in East Azerbaijan, 5,456 in Gilan, 5,134 in West Azerbaijan, 4,230 in Fars, 3,985 in Hamedan, 3,393 in Kermanshah, 2,890 in Central, 2,780 in Kurdistan 2,685 in Yazd, 2,621 in Kerman, 1,699 in Bushehr, 1,590 in Qazvin, 1,385 in Ilam, and 1,099 in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Monday, November 16, 2020, marks the 360th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 828 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
