Despite the Iran regime’s extensive efforts to encourage voter participation in its parliamentary elections held on March 1, the event was largely met with widespread boycott from a populace disillusioned by tyranny, lack of freedoms, and corruption. Reports from PMOI activists in Iran indicate that voting stations remained deserted across both major urban centers and smaller towns nationwide.
Earlier today, regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei once again implored citizens to participate in what critics deem as sham elections, stating, “All eyes are on our country.”
At Mehdi Ebrahimi High School on Tehran’s Sepah Street, converted into a polling station, reporters for the PMOI website observed emptiness prevailing.
Similarly, the Emami Elementary School voting station on Tehran’s Urmia Street remained deserted, as confirmed by PMOI activists’ footage.
In Tehran’s Navvab Street, the Lolagar Mosque’s voting station stood vacant, with passersby continuing their daily routines, indifferent to the regime’s electoral process.
Conversely, in Tehran’s Narmak district, the Ghods Girls School voting station remained unattended, signaling a collective stance of Iranian citizens against the regime’s elections.

Iranian National Charged for Multi-Year Hacking Campaign Targeting U.S. Defense Contractors and Private Sector Companies
The Justice Department unsealed an indictment charging an Iranian national with involvement in a cyber-enabled campaign to compromise U.S. governmental and private entities, including the U.S. Departments of the Treasury and State, defense contractors, and two New York-based companies.
According to court documents, from at least in or about 2016 through or about April 2021, Alireza Shafie Nasab, 39, of Iran, and other co-conspirators were members of a hacking organization that participated in a coordinated multi-year campaign to conduct and attempt to conduct computer intrusions. These intrusions targeted more than a dozen U.S. companies and the U.S. Departments of the Treasury and State. Nasab remains at large.
“While purporting to work as a cybersecurity specialist for Iran-based clients, Mr. Nasab allegedly participated in a persistent campaign to compromise U.S. private sector and government computer systems,” said Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division.

Dr. Vidal-Quadras Is The Symbol Of A Historical Protest Against The Policy Of Appeasement
On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Maryam Rajavi welcomed Professor Alejo Vidal Quadras, President of the International Committee In Search of Justice and former Vice President of the European Parliament, on his first trip to Paris after surviving the Iranian regime’s terrorist attempt on his life in Madrid.
Members and supporters of the PMOI and the National Council of Resistance of Iran gave him a stormy welcome with flowers and chants of “Viva Alejo!”
In part of a speech welcoming Prof. Vidal-Quadras and his wife, Amparo, Maryam Rajavi said: “On behalf of all PMOI members, and all members of the Iranian Resistance, I welcome you, dear Mr. Vidal-Quadras, and we are extremely happy that you are here with us, today. For all of us, this is a moment of great joy and pride.”
PMOI Resistance Units Reflect The Iranian People’s Will On Eve Of The Regime’s Sham Elections
On the eve of the Iranian regime’s farcical parliamentary elections, Iran’s brave youth are casting their votes by setting fire to posters and banners of the candidates in the sham elections. After four decades of tyranny, the people of Iran have no doubt that the Majlis and its elections do not represent the will of the people and only serve the regime’s goals. A recent trove of confidential documents leaked by a dissident group has further proven that the parliament only serves to carry out the will of the Revolutionary Guards and regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei, and its members abuse their power to steal the people’s wealth.
Iran Faces Nurse Shortage As Working Conditions Spark Protests
Shargh further highlighted the hardships faced by Iranian nurses. Their salaries, according to Mohammad Taghi Jahanpour, head of the nursing system organization, are not commensurate with the demands of their profession. He added, “We’ve reached a point where nurses are unwilling to work even an hour of overtime.”
Loqman Sharifi, a member of the Supreme Council of the Nursing System, believes that expecting nurses to work in major cities and metropolises with salaries between 10 and 13 million Tomans is unreasonable.
Tehran’s Seismic Nightmare: Research Reveals Critical Buildings, Millions at Risk
Almost 10% of buildings in Iran’s capital face potential collapse during earthquakes exceeding 7 on the Richter scale, leading to widespread destruction, according to new research.
On February 29th, the state-run newspaper Donya-e Eghtesad reported a new study by the Iranian parliament’s Research Center, which revealed that 65% of buildings in Tehran’s District 1 are in critical condition due to their location on a major fault line.
The report emphasizes that 100 densely populated buildings and 245 critical facilities in Tehran are at risk from a major earthquake. The Research Center has urged the government to restrict the activities of Tehran’s Article 5 Commission, which approves land sales to developers, leading to increased building density.
Iran: Former Minister of Agriculture Involved in $18.7 Million Fraud
The Iranian regime’s Rouydad 24 website reported that Javad Sadatinejad, the former Minister of Agriculture in Ebrahim Raisi’s government, has been accused of crossing the boundaries of corruption during his 20-month tenure in the ministry. It is alleged that he was involved in a corruption scheme amounting to 11 trillion rials (approximately $18.7 million) in the import of livestock feed. Previously, Sadatinejad’s name had been mentioned in connection with a $750 million corruption case related to the import of tea, known as “Debsh tea,” and many believed that this was the reason for his dismissal from the Ministry of Agriculture. However, new documents obtained by Rouydad 24 reveal his involvement in corruption related to the import of livestock feed.
