Regime Removes ID Stamp Requirement Ahead of Election Show
In a move aimed at facilitating electoral fraud, the clerical regime has eliminated the requirement for stamping identification cards during voting on the eve of the upcoming sham elections.
According to the state-run news agency Mehr, the head of the regime’s election headquarters in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province justified the decision, stating, “Given that some dissident media outlets sought to exploit the stamping of IDs to disturb public opinion, this year, to remove ambiguity and clarify the non-compulsory nature of participation in the elections, the stamp requirement on identification cards has been removed.”
United States Charges Four Mariners from Arabian Sea Vessel Transporting Suspected Iranian-Made Advanced Conventional Weapons
A criminal complaint was unsealed today charging four foreign nationals after U.S. naval forces interdicted a vessel in the Arabian Sea that was transporting suspected Iranian-made advanced conventional weaponry.
Two Navy SEALs lost their lives during the interdiction.
“The Justice Department extends our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the two Navy SEALs who lost their lives on January 11th while conducting an operation in the Arabian Sea,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “The charges resulting from that interdiction make clear that the Justice Department will use every legal authority to hold accountable those who facilitate the flow of weapons from Iran to Houthi rebel forces, Hamas, and other groups that endanger the security of the United States and our allies.”

While recently leaked documents exposed the financial corruption of certain members of Iran’s Majlis (Parliament), regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei is still preaching about the necessity of participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections. In a recent meeting with regime loyalists in East Azarbaijan, Khamenei said, “Everyone should participate in the elections. Elections are a fundamental pillar of the system. The path to reforming the country is through elections.” He added, “Those who seek to address and remedy the problems should participate in the elections. Elections are the right path.”
Since the revealed scandals in Majlis have intensified the internal crisis within the regime, Khamenei, to control the situation and silence them, said, “Those who enter the electoral arena should refrain from using foul language, insults, and humiliation towards others… They should avoid spreading negativity.
Iran’s Arms Export Surge, Missile Transfers to Russia
The Defense Ministry of Iran’s regime has reported a 40% increase in the country’s arms sales to foreign nations over the past 11 months. Reports have indicated that Iran has transferred hundreds of ballistic missiles to Russia.
According to Reuters, Iran’s regime has supplied Russia with a significant quantity of potent surface-to-surface ballistic missiles. This provision includes approximately 400 missiles, many of which belong to the Fateh-110 family of short-range ballistic weapons, such as the Zolfaghar, as disclosed by three Iranian sources. The Zolfaghar, a road-mobile missile, possesses a striking range of 300 to 700 km (186 to 435 miles), according to experts.

US Indicts Japanese Crime Boss for Alleged Trafficking of Nuclear Materials to Iran
In a significant legal move, authorities in the United States have brought charges against the head of a prominent Japanese criminal organization, accusing him of orchestrating a scheme to traffic nuclear materials from Myanmar, with the intended destination being Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
Takeshi Ebisawa, aged 60, stands accused alongside his associate, Somphop Singhasiri, aged 61, of engaging in a range of illicit activities, including drug trafficking, arms smuggling, and the illicit trade of nuclear substances.
Anne Milgram, Director of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), underscored the seriousness of the allegations, stating that Ebisawa and Singhasiri had even offered uranium and weapons-grade plutonium, fully aware of Iran’s intentions to employ them in the production of nuclear armaments. “Their actions exemplify the extreme callousness of criminal enterprises, showing a complete disregard for human life,” Milgram remarked.
Nahid Khodajoo Jailed to Serve 5 Years; Sara Siahpour Fired
Labor activist Nahid Khodajoo was transferred to Evin prison to serve her five-year sentence. Nahid Khodajoo lives in Tehran and is a retired worker. On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, she was arrested by security forces at the house of one of her friends in Fardis Karaj and taken to Evin Prison in Tehran. Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court sentenced Nahid Khodajoo to six years in prison and 74 lashes on charges of “assembly and collusion to act against national security” and “disturbing public order and peace” on October 10, 2019. The sentence was upheld by the Revision Court and the longest duration of imprisonment, i.e. 5 years in this case, is enforceable.
Political Prisoner Shahab Nadali Has Been Sentenced To Execution
Shahab Nadali, a political prisoner from Hamedan, has been convicted and sentenced to execution by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Iran, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari, in a fabricated case on charges of “membership in opposition groups” and “connection with the Mojahedin and armed cooperation with them” accused of rebellion.
Shahab Nadali is a 42-year-old worker and the father of a 12-year-old daughter. This political prisoner was arrested by security forces in the city of Iran in June 2024 and was later transferred to Evin Prison. Based on baseless accusations, he was sentenced to execution in the Revolutionary Court on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Shahab Nadali, the political prisoner, and his lawyer have protested against the verdict and have submitted a request for a review to the Supreme Court of the country. However, up to this moment, there has been no response to their plea for a review.
