NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF MAY 11, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, May 11, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 40,700 in 316 cities across Iran.
The death toll in various provinces include: 6830 in Tehran, 2950 in Khorasan Razavi, 2260 in Khuzestan, 1615 in Alborz, 1261 in Golestan, 1100 in Hamedan, 560 in Markazi (Central), 280 in Ilam. This is in addition to cases registered in other provinces.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on Sunday, May 10, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 315 cities in Iran has exceeded 40,500. The number of victims in Tehran is 6,790, Gilan 2,720, Khuzestan 2,165, West Azerbaijan 1,230, Lorestan 1,070, Hamedan 1,065, Kermanshah 975, Semnan 925, and Kerman 446.

Young woman sentenced to have eyes gouged out in northeastern Iran

A young Iranian woman was sentenced to have her eyes gouged out in northeastern Iran. Identified as F.M., the 30-year-old woman was tried by the 5th Branch of the Criminal Court of Khorasan Razavi Province.
According to the court ruling, she is to be blinded in both eyes, but her eye sockets should stay intact.
This is not the first time that the mullahs’ regime has issued inhumane sentences. Cruel and inhumane punishments are institutionalized in the laws of the mullahs’ regime. Articles 269 to 293 of the Third Book of the Islamic Penal Code describe all the conditions for retribution.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Monday, May 11, 2020, marks the 179th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
