Every 10 minutes, one person “dies of coronavirus in Iran”

“Almost every hour in Iran, 50 people would infect with COVID-19.”


A spokesman for the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Health warned about traffic and sightings of Nowruz, saying that every 1 minute one Iranian citizen dies from the consequences of the coronavirus infection. Kianoush Jahanpour tweeted, “Almost every hour in Iran, 50 people would infect with COVID-19.”

Four women’s rights activists summoned to prison following coronavirus

Fatemeh Kohanzadeh, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment and 50 lashes for participating in the November uprising

Four women’s rights activists were summoned to prison to carry out their sentences. The four women’s rights activists had previously been sentenced to a total of 16 years and eight months in prison by the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

The four women’s rights activists, Nahid Shaqaqi, Akram Nasirian, Maryam Mohammadi, and Esrin Derkaleh, must introduce themselves to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Tehran Revolutionary Court by March 18, 2020.

There were two recent developments in the U.S. Senate advancing the cause of a democratic and free IranThe first was a Senate briefing on the prospect of change in Iran, during which four Senators, including three Democrats, called for fundamental change in Iran while expressing support for the Iranian peoples’ uprising for freedom and democracy.

The second development was the filing of a Senate Resolution introduced by four Democratic Senators that condemns the Iranian regime’s serious human rights abuses against the Iranian people, as well as its pervasive corruption, and destabilizing activities abroad.

Iran state daily: Coronavirus was discovered far before officials announced

Coronavirus was discovered 12 days prior to the February 11 rally in Iran marking the 1979 revolution, according to the state-run Jahan-e Sanat daily. However, this was kept a secret due to the fact that the February 11 rally was on schedule. The government could have initiative quarantine measures in Qom and prevent the coronavirus spread, the piece adds.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Thursday, March 19, 2020, marks the 126th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
