Iranian regime begins 2011 with four executions

NCRI – The Iranian regime has executed four people in the southeastern town of Zahedan. According to the state-run IRNA on Saturday, the names of the victims were as Mahmoud Barahoui, Shahram Naroui, Zohour Ahmad Assefdoust, and Jahanbakhsh Barahoui.

 

The four were charged with the death of an agent of the suppressive State Security Forces (SSF).

According to Agence France Presse, the hangings marked the first wave of executions by the Iranian regime in 2011.
