Worldwide protest against Iran regime’s role in Samarra bombing

NCRI – Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance across the world condemned mullahs’ regime for bombing of the Shiite holly shrine in Samarra over the past two weeks.

Iranians in Canada held protest rallies in Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa to condemn this terrorist act and called on the authorities to press for an independent international inquiry into this assault.

Participants in Vancouver also condemned the new wave of executions of political prisoners in Iran, particularly the secret hanging of Hojjat Zamani, a member of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.

They rejected the terror label against the PMOI, the main opposition to the medieval regime, and called for its immediate removal from the list of terrorist organizations.

The protesters emphasized that the solution to the problem in Iran is a democratic change through Iranian people and the Resistance. To this end they urged the UN Security Council to adopt tough measures against the fundamentalist regime.
