NCRI – Vatican protested the Iranian regime decision to ban publication of Pope Benedict’s book in Iran.
The book, together with another book on the Late Pope John Paul the second was planned to be published in Iran, but Ahmadinejad’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance banned the publication.
It is claimed that the ministry of Guidance has characterized the books as propaganda for promoting Christianity in Iran and stopped the Persian translation of the books.
