NCRI- According to obtained reports, political prisoner, Behrouz Javid Tehrani, has completed the 11th day of his hunger strike in protest to the inhumane tortures and intolerable conditions of the prison.
After exposing cruel tortures in Ward 1 of Gohardasht prison, he was transferred on May 31 to solitary confinement in the prison in an area dubbed as the “dog house.”
During this period, Tehrani has been brutally tortured on a number of occasions by individials like Hassan Akharian, Warden of Ward 1, Aqa Mirzai, Mohammadi, and several others.
Tehrani is now in critical condition under inhumane conditions.
Separately, in Gohardasht prison, drinking water for Ward 3 has been cut off and political prisoners are severely suffering under intense summer heat.
The Warden of Ward 3, Gerami, and another torturer identified as NAderi, are among those who were actively involved in the massacre of political prisoners in 1988.
