NCRI – Former US Assistant Secretary of Defense Richard Perle called for support for the democratic opposition in Iran.
Speaking to Munich Security Conference, Mr. Perle said: "US Republican Senator John McCain and Democratic Senator Liberman have called for support of the democratic opposition in Iran and I find this position quite reasonable. This is much better and much more practical than to start thinking about the time of a military operation in Iran."
Perle added that it is ironic that the US shies away from the moral and political support of millions of Iranians who want to end the tyranny in their country.
The Former US Assistant Secretary of Defense reiterated that the Iranian regime is the foremost state sponsor of terrorism.
