Students in Tehran protest mullahs’ suppressive measures

NCRI – Law students at the University of Tehran staged a protest gathering last week with chants of “death to dictator” in reaction to a series of suppressive measures by the Iranian regime.

The clerical regime has taken steps to change the curriculum and enforce stricter rules on veiling and clothing on campus in a plan dubbed as “Islamicization of universities.”

The clerical regime has taken steps to change the curriculum and enforce stricter rules on veiling and clothing on campus in a plan dubbed as “Islamicization of universities.”

Students at the University of Tehran’s law school condemned the measures by protesting on campus and chanting “death to dictator.”

Agents from the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence’s representative office on campus, called the Herasat, used violence to disperse the demonstrators. At least four students were arrested by the agents, according to eyewitnesses accounts.
