NCRI – Supporters of the Iranian Resistance held rallies and demonstrations in various countries across the world in solidarity with Iranian students on the seventh anniversary of their uprising in Iran.
A group of Iranians residing in Austria held a rally on Monday in central Vienna condemning deteriorating human rights situation in Iran. In their slogans the participants expressed support to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s proposed plan for democratic change in Iran relying in Iranian people and their organized resistance.
Demonstrators also called for immediate removal of terror tag against the main Iranian opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI).
"The PMOI was placed on the US and the EU terror list as part of a policy of appeasement of the mullahs’ terrorist regime. Now that this policy has been proven to be a disastrous failure, maintaining the PMOI in the list is no longer justified. It only leaves a deep scar in the minds of every Iranian living through their darkest days in the history," said one of the organizers of the event who had recently come out of Iran.
The rally in Austrian capital received widespread support from general public who wished success for the Iranian Resistance to establish democracy in a nuclear free Iran of future.
