The protesters urged the EU to implement the verdict of the European Court by removing the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) from its terrorist list. Speakers included two Iranian contemporary poets; Rahman Karimi and Hamid Nasseri. Both called on the EU to abide by the court's ruling and delist the PMOI.

Mr. Karimi told the participants, "We condemn the EU Council for breaking the law by not implementing the ruling regarding the Mojahedin."

Mr. Nasseri likewise criticized the EU Council for trampling the law and said, "Not removing the main Iranian opposition from the list despite the court ruling is currying favor with the ruling religious fascism in Iran."

Organizers of the Brussels sit-in opened a photo exhibition of the latest human rights violations of the mullahs' regime. It received good public respond when local residents and tourists expressed sympathy with the Iranian people and their Resistance.
