Satellite signals jammed on anniversary of protests

NCRI – Satellite networks get jammed by Iranian regime on the brink of Student Day protests.

As the Student Day (December 7) approaches, the Iranian regime has jammed signals of satellite TV networks covering foreign news agencies on a 24 hour basis, according to the Association of Supporters of Murdered and Jailed Dissidents.

The areas hit the hardest have been reported to be in western Tehran.

But the Iranian regime is apparently unable to disrupt satellite signals in northern Tehran where foreign embassies are located.

Still, youths in Tehran are working hard to connect to the outside world and both send and receive news reports.
