REMOVE PMOI FROM TERROR LIST – demonstrators in Sweden

NCRI – Chanting “Mullahs’ are terrorists – refer them to UN” dozens of Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance staged a rally in central Stockholm to condemn the clerical regime’s meddling in Iraq.

Protesters expressed their support to residents of Camp Ashraf in Iraq, where members of the People’s Mojahedin of Iran, the main opposition to the Iranian fundamentalist regime are staying. In recent months the regime has intensified its efforts to expel PMOI from Ashraf which stand strongly against fundamentalist ambitions in Iraq.
An official of the Iranian Association of Experts and Academics in Sweden, the organization behind the evetn, told local reporters that this was part of an international campaign to expose the clerical regime’s fundamentalist intentions in the region which is going to use Iraq as its diving board. The official who identified herself as Shirin said that she had recently fled Iran and described the situation in Iran “explosive.”
She also exposed the mullahs’ disinformation campaign against the PMOI in Europe and the U.S. hoping to discredit the opposition movement and restrict its activities. “the mullahs are angry with the Mojahedin for their revelations of the regime’s nuclear programs,” she said.
Participants, in solidarity with their compatriots living in exile in other countries, called for a firm policy against the regime in Iran and PMOI’s immediate removal from the terror lists.
