NCRI – The Iranian regime’s agents at the Gohardasht prison in Karaj are planning to send the mother of a political prisoner to “exile” in the city of Zanjan, according to obtained reports.
Zahra Asadpour Gorji, the mother of political prisoner Reza Joushan, was scheduled to be transferred to Zanjan by a regime agent on Saturday.
Her only daughter in Iran, Fereshteh Joushan, was arrested last week on phony charges of seeking to leave the country. The situation has made the mother lose her only source of support and she has no place to stay in Zanjan.
An Iranian association supporting families of slain and imprisoned political activists has called on the people of Zanjan to take in the “heroin who is a symbol of perseverance against the current unjust rulers.”
