Rajavi: The mullahs are unable to cease torture and hanging in Iran

NCRI -The President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, said in a message to the anti-Ahmadinejad protest by Iranians in New York on Tuesday, "The mullahs are necessarily unable to cease torture and hanging for even one day in Iran. They cannot stop exporting terror and bombs to Iraq. They are not capable of suspending their nuclear program".
The protestors who enjoyed the support of many political dignitaries and US congressmen called on the international community to condemn Iranian regime’s atrocities and support the third option offered by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi for democratic change in Iran.

The protestors who enjoyed the support of many political dignitaries and US congressmen called on the international community to condemn Iranian regime’s atrocities and support the third option offered by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi for democratic change in Iran.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, said in a message to the protest: “Admitting the head of the mullahs’ executive branch to the United Nations is a clear sign of an astounding contradiction in the West’s policy towards Iran.

"On the one hand, the West has called the Iranian regime the biggest threat to global peace and security, and on the other hand, it recommends reaching out to the regime for further dialogue and negotiations.

"Clearly, negotiations are the best adoptable course to prevent unnecessary hostilities. However, it is only legitimate and permissible when the other party, in this case the mullahs’ regime, has ceased its warmongering, terrorism, and murderous policies.

"Negotiating with a regime which has waged a relentless war against the Iranian people on all fronts, and one which continues to create unimaginable bloodshed and catastrophes in Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Afghanistan is hardly logical or permissible.

"The mullahs are necessarily unable to cease torture and hanging even for one day in Iran. They cannot stop exporting terror and bombs to Iraq. They are not capable of suspending their nuclear program. In addition to these terrorism campaigns, they benefit immensely from negotiations and dialogue in order to keep their regime in power longer, and this is why negotiations are not tolerable with a murderous tyranny."
