NCRI- April 28, 2007 – A number of students in university of Lorestan province (West of Iran) took part in a two day strike starting Wednesday April 25.
They protested lack of classrooms, libraries and the low quality of education.
Students also condemned the repressive atmosphere in the university and also stated that all their demands face a harsh and suppressive reaction from "Disciplinary Committee", a government watchdog organization in the university. The students said that they are deprived of their most rudimentary rights in the university.
