Mohammad Salam Joushan’s houses in Tehran’s Hakimieh district was raided by 8 agents on the orders of the chief interrogator of the Revolutionary Guards intelligence ward at Gohardasht Prison. Some windows and doors at the home were broken. A number of the family’s belongings were also either stolen or destroyed, according to the report.
Mr. Joushan was arrested by agents of the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) for taking part in last year’s massive anti-regime protests in Iran. He was released on bail some time later.
Mr. Joushan’s wife, Zahra Asadpour Gorji, and his son, Reza, have been imprisoned at Karaj’s Gohardasht prison since December 2009. The regime has not allowed any family contacts or visits for the political prisoners.
