NCRI – A number of political prisoners at Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison in Iran organized a ceremony on Thursday to honour the memory of one of their colleagues who died this week.
Mohsen Dokmechi, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, died after the Iranian regime denied him urgent medical treatment. He was imprisoned for helping families of political prisoners and having a daughter in Camp Ashraf, Iraq.
His cellmates and friends in Gohardasht Prison condemned the Iranian regime’s decision to deny him medicine and treatment for months leading to his death.
