Political prisoner Ali Moezzi sends message from Gohardasht Prison

Ali MoezziNCRI – A political prisoner, Ali Moezzi, has sent a message from Gohardasht Prison in the Tehran suburb of Karaj on the occasion of the last day of Ramadan. Mr. Moezzi has relatives living in Camp Ashraf, Iraq, where 3,400 members of the main opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) reside.

Below is the translated text of the message:

With the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid-e Fetr, we thank God for His guidance and gifts. We also pray and send endless salutes to the Prophet of compassion and liberty, Fatemeh Zahra, Ali, and our other historical guides. We pray for an end to the symbol of heresy in this era, namely absolute clerical rule, which is a source of shame for Islam and humanity.

Simultaneous with the great Eid-e Fetr, I also offer my heartfelt best wishes to my dear compatriots, those who fasted and all the descent human beings. Let us pray for the liberty and freedom of the Iranian people from the clutches of tyranny and dictatorship.

I would also like to send special greetings to the proud and persevering souls in the pure city of Ashraf. I pray for their success and victory. I am certain that the dawn of freedom and happiness for the Iranian nation is close and the end of the era of those who have set out to destroy the nation is inevitable.
