Plots against Iranian Mojahedin based in Iraq condemned by Hague rallyNCRI – Threats to members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, the main Iranian opposition group based in Ashraf City in Iraq, were condemned by supporters of the Iranian Resistance in rallies across the world.

In the Hague the protesters chanted, “mullahs out of Iraq” and called for democratic change in Iran. Participants in the rally on Friday included families of members of the PMOI residing in Ashraf City.

The worldwide protests were provoked by reports indicating that the Iraqi government is considering repatriation of PMOI members to Iran upon pressures by the mullahs’ regime.

Following the above report, the water pipelines from the Tigris River to Ashraf was blown up by agents of the mullahs’ inhumane regime on Tuesday, July 18. The pipeline explosions occurred 15 kilometers west of Ashraf.

Several speakers addressed the rally in the Hague which included Sir Leen La Riviere, General Secretary of the International Federation of Christian Artists, Dr. Robert Rosenbom, Senior Pastor of Protestant Church in Almere, and representatives of Iranian communities in the Netherlands.

A delegation representing the participants in the rally delivered a letter to the Iraqi embassy condemning mullahs’ new conspiracy against the PMOI members based in Ashraf.
